The Art of Puppeteering

Attendees will explore the role and purpose of puppeteering, the art of creating a character and developing a relationship with the audience. Participants will study successful puppeteers, by learning how to create a personality with a puppet through use of voice interpretations. Participants will discuss the benefit of uses of a puppet to communicate various messages to younger audiences for alternative activities and presentations. Providers that teach the Too Good for Drugs elementary curriculum will benefit as well as providers who’d like to work with a younger audience for alternative activities and presentations.
